Sweet Sensations is a fully licensed bake shoppe located at Avery Park in Newnan, GA. It serves the greater Atlanta area specializing in custom decorated cakes, cookies and other goodies made to order.

Sharon Alexander, the owner/sugar artist, has taken instruction from world renown pastry chefs and sugar artists including Colette Peters, Keegan Gerhard, Norman Love, Andrew Shotts, Cheri Elder, Stephane Cheramy, Jacquy Pfeiffer, Ferderic Monti, Sebastien Canonne, Roland Mesnier and Nicholas Lodge whom she has assisted in his classes.

Professional memberships include the Retail Baker's Association, International Cake Exploration Society, the Newnan-Coweta Chamber of Commerce, Newnan Coweta Art Association and the ABWA.

Directions:

From I-85 south: Exit 51, turn right at the end onto Hwy 154. At the signal (Hwy 29) turn left. From that point you'll travel about seven miles. You'll go up a small incline and as you crest it there is a right turn lane that will take you right onto The Boulevard in Avery Park. The brick building in front of you as you turn is our location at the west end (corner of Old Atlanta Hwy/The Boulevard).

From Peachtree City/Fayetteville: Take Hwy 54 to 34. Turn right onto Hwy 154. At Hwy 29 turn left. From that point you'll travel about seven miles. You'll go up a small incline and as you crest it there is a right turn lane that will take you right onto The Boulevard in Avery Park. The brick building in front of you as you turn is our location at the west end (corner of Old Atlanta Hwy/The Boulevard).

From Bullsboro: Take the 34 Bypass west (KFC on the corner) towards Carrollton. Turn right onto Hwy 29 (north). Almost two blocks, the second left turn lane goes onto The Boulevard into Avery Park. You'll be on the front side of the building and we're at the far end (corner of Old Atlanta Hwy/The Boulevard).

If a consultation or decorating is in progress, your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Due to the time consuming nature of our custom sweets, there is a three day minimum for orders.

Thank you to all our wonderful customers. Because of you spreading the word, the demand for our custom orders has exploded! Sweet Sensations was voted "Best Bakery in the Southern Arc" in Lifestyles Magazine, thanks to you! And we've been nominated for "Best Wedding cake" on Fox 5 Atlanta. There is still time to vote.

In order to keep up with the demand we have decided to cut out our walk-in items. Everything will now be by order, including cookies. Just give us a call ahead and we'll put your order together.

We will be adjusting our phone hours to Tues-Fri 10-5 and Sat 10-2.
