Founded in January of 1994, Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity is a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. 

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing.  The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.

HFH International, which was founded in Americus, Georgia, in 1976, is now operating in 1761 North American cities and more than 602 active affiliates in international areas. HFHI is a growing ministry, both locally and throughout the world.
