A graduate of UCLA, Michael Rayburn earned a D.D.S. degree from the Emory University School of Dentistry in 1988. The following year he completed post graduate work and was awarded a Certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Emory.

dr. Rayburn has continued his education, above and beyond the requirements for licensure, since that time. Specific areas of interest include implants, endodontics (root canal treatment), and orthodontics. Dr. Rayburn is an Invisalign certified providor. He is a charter member of Southern Georgia Dental Education, a study group for doctors.

Currently Dr. Rayburn is enrolled in the mastership program at the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, which includes training in prosthetics, aesthetics and occlusion.
