Group Exercise - Class Descriptions
Pilates
7:00pm Monday
Pilates is a group of exercises created to train and strengthen the core/center of our bodies. Developed by Joseph Pilates these exercises focus on using one's own body resistance to build strong abdominal and back muscles.
All fitness levels welcome.
Cardio Circuit
6:15am Tuesday
This 60 minute class offers a combination of cardiovascular and strength exercises for all ages and fitness levels. The circuit formats allows participants to work at their own pace and ability. Circuit stations include conditioning exercises as well as short cardio segments in a 3:1 minute ratio.
Body Blast
6:15am Wednesday
This 60 minute class offers a wide variety of strength and toning exercises for lower body, abdominals & back. Exercises focus on toning and defining legs, buttocks, back and abs. Enjoy a 10 relaxation at the end of class.
Yoga
7:00pm Thursday
Hatha yoga is offered on Thursday evening from 7-8pm. This class offers yoga poses from the Iyengar method of yoga. Everyone is invited to participate and encouraged to work at your own level.
Stretch &Tone
12:00pm Friday
This 45-minute class offers a total body workout to condition, strengthen and stretch all major muscles of the body. Light weights, stability balls and exercise tubing are provided for increased resistance.
