Newnan Times HeraldThe Times-Herald is Newnan and Coweta County’s local daily newspaper, printed seven days a week, 365 days a year.

The newspaper is locally owned by Billy and Marianne Thomasson, longtime residents of Newnan who are involved in the daily operation of the newspaper.

The Times-Herald’s goal is to be the number one source of local news, local advertising and local information about Coweta County and the people who live in this rapidly growing community.  Nowhere will you find more local community news and advertising.

The news, advertising and business offices are located at 16 Jefferson Street in downtown Newnan.  Printing and operations offices are downtown at 23 Andrews Street.  The Times-Herald has been in operation 143 years, beginning on September 9, 1865, just a few months after the end of the Civil War.

In addition to the daily newspaper, The Times-Herald publishes the “Newnan-Coweta Magazine", a city magazine with news and advertising about Newnan and Coweta County.
