Scott'sBookstore
Scott's Bookstore opened their doors in downtown Newnan in November of 1976 at 27 Perry Street with 600 square feet of floor space. Twenty years later they purchased their current location at 28 South Court Square to attempt to keep up with the demand for a quality bookstore.
Mrs. Earlene Scott, owner of Scott's, says that she has been very blessed to have had the support of the community for over forty years. Scott's was Newnan's first bookstore. They are known for their support of local authors. Lewis Grizzard visited Scott's several times each year for book signings, the last of which had people waiting around the block to visit with him. Senator Zell Miller was in twice for signings as was Senator Herman Talmage and many other well-known celebrities.
Scott's is known for their superior customer service, wonderful selection and their willingness to special order any book your heart desires!
Be sure and visit Scott's Bookstore on your next trip to downtown. The owner is always in!
