AAC Aprendiendo a Color- SATURDAY ART SCHOOL - is an amazing opportunity for kids ages 4-10 to explore and appreciate the wonderful world of art while they are learning a new language. Kids will get a chance to draw, paint, color, and sculpt their Saturday away as they learn about artists and cultures from around the world. Materials such as wood, clay, textile, oil, pastels and simple materials like recyclables or other items found in nature are used interactively to increase learning retention.

Registration is required, limit is 12 children.The registration include the entrance of the museum.

- Recycled Material Tropical Fish: Saturday Art School.

Tropical fish are generally those fish found in aquatic tropical environments around the world, including both freshwater and saltwater species. Come join us April 6th to learn more about Tropical Fish. Children will draw and paint tropical fish using recycled materials. Children will explore with oil pastels, acrylics paint and other textures. Sign up for our art class or finger knit! AAC Aprendiendo a Color.
Minimum 5 - Max 10 students (We keep our class SMALL)
Fee - $15.00 (Include Museum Entrance).

-Finger Knit for kids (Ages 8-10) (Recurring classes): Saturday Art School

If you’ve always wanted to learn to knit, this is the class for you! AAC wants to invite you to learn to Finger Knit!!. It’s easy and fast! Children will learn how to create a knitted project using only yarn and their fingers. Children will learn to cast on, knit, purl and cast off (binding), in addition to a few different stitch patterns and a bunch of troubleshooting techniques. Yarn provided, just bring your fingers!
Cost: $18.00

- Recycled Material: Ferry Boats. Saturday Art School
April 13/2019. 10:00 a.m -11:00 a.m
Join us this Saturday, April 13 for another fun art lesson with recycled materials. Students will see several examples of boats and create their own mixed media sailor by layering various types of cardboard, buttons and covers of different sizes.
Cost: $15.00
Ages 8 and 10.
