Welcome to UWG Continuing Education's Making Movies Camp for Teens
Interested in cinematography, movie editing, directing, or acting? Let's make movies! During the Making Movies Camp for Teens, students will use their smartphones to shoot and edit a film. There is no need to bring a laptop or sophisticated camera - just bring your smartphone! (Really, no other equipment needed!) We will cover basic cinematography, direction, lighting, editing. We will not be teaching acting, but for students who love acting, we would love to have you star in our films. Most of all, we will be introducing students to film making & making it fun.
P.s. Get a friend to sign up for camp with you, too, because you might need someone to hold your camera and act in your film!
Camps run Monday through Friday. Campers may be dropped off starting at 8:45 a.m. and picked up at 3PM. Camp programs start at 9:00 a.m. Making Movies camp activities are designed and recommended for ages 12 - 16 years, limited to fifteen (15) participants.
