Passport to Coweta County

Date: June 06 - July 19, 2019
Passport to Coweta County is an outdoor exhibit that encourages families to explore different locations, areas, and experiences throughout Newnan and the surrounding Coweta County area.

Participating families start their journey at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum where they can pick up their passport booklet for a $5 donation (active Newnan-Coweta Historical Society members receive a free booklet). Touring the Museum earns participants their first “stamp.”

The passport includes ten stops in total. Once families visit the passport location and actively engage with the organization, they should see a staff or volunteer on site to receive their “stamp” for that respective location. For locations without a volunteer or staff member on site, families may take a photo documenting their visit and receive a “stamp” at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum at a later date. Families that receive stamps for all ten stops by the end of the program will receive a congratulatory prize.
