Main Street Manager

Leads efforts in economic vitality, design, promotion, and organization. This role serves as the staff liaison to the Downtown Development Authority, manages the program budget, and works closely with business owners, property owners, local officials, and community partners to support downtown growth. The Main Street Manager also oversees downtown events and marketing initiatives, helping to enhance the district’s vibrancy, visibility, and overall economic success.

Special Event Coordinator

The Special Event Coordinator plans and executes downtown events, managing vendors, volunteers, and event logistics. This role also leads sponsorship efforts and oversees advertising and marketing to promote events and drive community engagement.
 

Board of Directors

The Downtown Development Authority of Newnan (DDA) serves as the Board of Directors for the Main Street Newnan Program. The Newnan DDA meets monthly at 9:00am on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at Newnan City Hall. Visitors are welcome to attend all public meetings. It is suggested that all agenda items be submitted to Main Street Newnan at least two weeks in advance.
