Resources for Market Applicants & Vendors
Tips & Info
Acceptance into our market is strictly product based, and we reserve the right to accept vendors based on: qualifications, quantity, quality and craftsmanship. Please note that Main Street Newnan will not be able to accept all applicants who apply to participate in the market, we typically have space for ½ of the vendors who apply to each market.
Focus on selling specialty items that are related to one craft genre that complement each other. Applications that include a very diverse product selection are less competitive than applications that focus on specializing on one product line.
Submit as many photos as possible, and include links to social media and websites that feature your product.
Submit photos of your products on display in booths at other markets to illustrate your talent.
The market will not feature more than 4 vendor booths that feature the same type of product. We limit this to one vendor per genre on each side of the square.
The Main Street Manager and The Market Day Committee both assist to determine who is accepted into the market. Preference can no longer be given to vendors as a result of “seniority” at past markets.
Late applications cannot be considered. Make sure you turn a completed application in by the due date! An online submission, payment, and any related licenses are ALL due by the 5
th
of the month prior to the market that you wish to attend.
Payment may only be submitted in the form of a check. We do not accept Cash, Credit, Debit or Money Orders.
You must pay for each individual market separately. Your application will be considered incomplete if you attempt to submit payment for multiple markets.
Payment may be dropped off or mailed to Main Street Newnan, 6 First Avenue, Newnan, GA 30263.
Some applicants will be added to a “Waiting List” for each market. If an accepted vendor gives prior notification that they cannot make a market, Main Street Newnan will contact applicable vendors who are placed on the waiting list. Main Street Newnan will not deposit payment for vendors added from the waiting list until they are accepted into each market.
All checks that are submitted to Main Street Newnan by applicants who are not accepted into the market will be shredded in a safe environment.
Businesses, Organizations, Non-Profits, Direct Sales Leaders, and Religious Institutions cannot apply to receive a booth to hand out information or literature during any Market Day. They may apply to the Market as a vendor that adheres to all rules and regulations, but they will not be permitted to hand out information related to their mission or cause.
