Littleton Family Farms

Date: Apr 04, 2018 - Apr 03, 2019
Richard and Kim Littleton own and operate Littleton Family Farms which translates to "we do all the work ourselves". Our farm is at our home in Clem (a suburb of Carrollton). We grew up gardening and try to combine old fashioned gardening ideals and ethics with current sustainable gardening guidelines. Our bee apiary surrounds our gardens and we never use anything in our gardens that could harm them.

We sell at the Newnan Market Days and the Coweta County Farmers Market in Newnan, Georgia and pride ourselves on having freshly picked in season vegetables each week. We have no help at the farm so it's all grown and harvested by our hands. We pick items the afternoon before market and never store things in cold storage. Folks especially like our seasonal produce like young tender okra, green beans, peas, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, turnip greens, kale and collards along with other seasonal vegetables. We sell our extra fruit like old fashioned apples, crabapples, blackberries, blueberries, grapes and muscadines when in season.

Each year we set aside part of our acreage to grow gourds of all shapes and sizes for birdhouses and for gourd artists. We also make around 20 varieties of jams and jellies from fruit and vegetables that we grow ourselves including 5 varieties of hot pepper jelly. Our aim is to only use fruit we grow. We've won numerous awards at local fairs for our honey, jams and jellies. Stop by and get a taste test of as many jellies as you'd like to try.

We sell hand-turned wooden bowls that Richard's dad has made. At the Littleton Family Farms in Carrollton, Georgia we do our best to take care of God's green earth and enjoy providing fresh products to those who enjoy them. We're just too busy for social media but we do send out a newsletter right before each market. Email us at khlittleton@yahoo.com to get on our newsletter email list.
