POSTPONED: New Date TBD. Free Community Wellness Day Returns to Newnan
The 9th Annual Community Wellness Day returns to Downtown Newnan on TBD, bringing local businesses, healthcare providers, nonprofits and wellness professionals together for a free, family-friendly day centered around whole-person wellness.
Hosted by True Balance Center for Breath and Bodywork and presented by Newnan Natural Pain Relief & Wellness, the event gives visitors an opportunity to explore local health and wellness resources, enjoy interactive demonstrations and connect with organizations serving Coweta County and surrounding communities.
This year's “Feel Good. Do Good.” theme emphasizes giving back. A portion of event proceeds will benefit Coweta FORCE, a local nonprofit providing recovery support services to individuals and families throughout the community.
“Community Wellness Day is about creating connections,” says Ute Anonsen, owner of True Balance in downtown Newnan. “Whether someone is searching for information about physical health, mental wellness, nutrition, movement or family resources, this event offers something for everyone.”
Held around the historic Coweta County Courthouse Square and greenspace, the event also gives attendees an opportunity to explore downtown Newnan and support local businesses.
