Join us this Saturday, January 10th, 2026, as our CCGS Vice President, Danny Spivey, leads our next Educational Series: Land Records and Deeds! Land and Deed records are a treasure trove for genealogist, offering a wealth of knowledge about their lives, including proof of residence, family relationships, and economic status...but NONE of that helps if you don't know what to look for, where to find it, or what it all means! Danny will cover all of the basics of Land Record and Deeds, how to find them at the courthouse, and how to navigate Family Search for our Coweta County records. He brings years of genealogy experience and surveying knowledge to the table. As always, our educational events are open to the public and are FREE of Charge.
