Meet the Artists!
Kari McGrady is a multidisciplinary artist who has spent years exploring woodworking, leather work, silver-smithing and jewelry design, 3D printing, graphic design, pyrography, and whatever other medium happens to catch her attention at any given moment.
She often refers to herself as a collector of skills. She loves learning and challenging herself, but what she enjoys even more is figuring how to turn the ordinary and forgotten objects into unique creations that mak epeople stop, look twice, smile, ponder, or perhaps see something familiar in a completely different and magical way,
Mona McReynolds considers art to be her form of escape from the mundane by jumping into her imagination. She works in a variety of mediums, including woodworking, abstract painting, bone carving, and transforming found objects into something entirely new. Where others might see something broken or forgotten, Mona sees potential. Whether she's carving, painting, building, or repurposing, the process is as much about discovery as it is about creating.
She doesn't always know where an idea will take her, and honestly, that's part of what she loves about it. Art gives her a place to experiment, get inspired, and turn the ordinary into something unexpected.
Marcus Gindroz is a just guy who loves to make things.
Mary Margaret Awbrey is a self-taught artist who enjoys doing a little bit of everything. She does drawing, digital, mixed medium, prop making, and fabrication. She enjoys learning new things and finding new ways to create.
"Why should I attend?"
This exhibition brings together four artists whose work explores different corners of the strange, beautiful, unsettling, and human. Their work will be presented alongside the developing world of Mud & Bone.
Your ticket supports the exhibition and helps bring this independent film project one step closer to production.
